Avui la Christine i l’Ed seran, però només a través de la pantalla?
La Christine i l’Ed treballen com a figurants de ficcions televisives, només fan de figurants. En totes les escenes que han filmat al llarg de la seva carrera la seva dramatúrgia sempre ha estat equiparada a la d'un gerro, una taula o una planta.
La Christine i l'Ed no són parella, però fa més de 20 anys que fan veure que són parella per a poder tenir un pis subsidiat a la ciutat de Nova York, que comparteixen com una parella que no són parella.
Avui, la Christine i l'Ed construiran una ficció on sí seran parella i on no seran un decorat.
A aquesta ficció no formaran part de l’estètica i/o estil d’un film, sinó que ells, la seva dramatúrgia, generarà l’estètica.
Només podran ser a través de la pantalla.
Christine and Ed will be, but only through the screen?
Christine and Ed work as extras in TV shows. In all the scenes they have shot throughout their careers, their acting has been compared to that of a vase, a table, a plant.
Today, Christine and Ed will participate in a scene where they are a couple and not just as extras. In this way they wont be part of the aesthetics or style of a particular film but themselves and their acting will be what generates the aesthetic.
They can only be through the screen.
